The full text of the special district’s charter, the date of establishment, the establishing entity, and the statute or statutes under which the special district operates, if different from the statute or statutes under which the special district was established. Community development districts may reference Chapter 190 as the uniform charter but must include information relating to any grant of special powers.

Established December 2, 1986, by Ordinance No. 86-163 granting those special powers to the CDD as set forth in Section 190.012(1) and (2)(a) and (d) F.S. and by Ordinance No. 90-124 on April 17, 1990, contracting the boundaries and by Ordinance No. 2005-104 on March 22, 2005, expanding the borders by 4.09 acres and Resolution No. 2013-038 consenting to the exercise of certain security powers on September 18, 2013.

6. A description of the boundaries or service area of, and the services provided by, the special district.

The Turtle Run Community Development District (TRCDD) boundaries encompass approximately 550 acres of a community located at the northwest corner of the intersection of US 441 (SR 7) and Sample Road (SR 834) in Coral Springs, Florida.

The TRCDD owns, operates and maintains approximately 32 acres of water management tracts and have perpetual use of another 27 acres of easements for lake maintenance and flowage purposes. These tracts and easements contain lakes, canals and lake interconnection culverts to serve the Turtle Run/Coral Bay basin.

For purposes of this subparagraph, charges do not include patient charges by a hospital or other health care provider.
